APC Scribe Bashiru Critiques ADC's Blame on Tinubu

Ajibola Bashiru, the APC scribe, addressed journalists at the party's secretariat in Abuja, advising the ADC to cease blaming President Bola Tinubu for their electoral challenges. He emphasized that the ADC should concentrate on their pending court cases regarding leadership issues instead of resorting to propaganda.

Bashiru questioned the ADC's assertion of being the leading opposition party, noting their poor performance in recent elections, including the FCT council polls where they won no local government or councilorship positions. He dismissed the ADC's claims as baseless, lacking electoral credibility and public trust.

Furthermore, he described the ADC's call for the removal of the INEC chairman as laughable, questioning whether the commission could prevent the ADC from pursuing its legal case. Bashiru also drew parallels with the PDP, which held a convention in Ibadan despite a court order against it.
