Stop fabricating quotes in my name – El-Rufai warns ADC Vanguard

Former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has warned the political support group ADC Vanguard to stop fabricating quotes in his name. He emphasized that he never made the comments attributed to him on social media and would disown any such remarks.

The ADC Vanguard had falsely quoted him criticizing President Bola Tinubu's administration as corrupt and dishonest. Following El-Rufai's rebuttal, the ADC Vanguard issued an apology, acknowledging the inconvenience caused and stating that it was not their intention to misrepresent him.

They promised to rely on verified and authentic sources for communication in the future. El-Rufai urged the group to use proper channels to express their views and opinions respectfully.
