NLC Stands with NUPENG Against Dangote Refinery in Labor Dispute

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has expressed support for the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) in their dispute with Dangote Refinery. NLC issued fresh demands, citing solidarity with NUPENG's decision to suspend loading petroleum products at Dangote depot.

The dispute stems from allegations of Dangote Refinery's anti-union practices and exploitative labor conditions. NLC President, Comrade Joe Ajaero, warned against corporate greed and accused Dangote Group of denying workers their rights.

The NLC's stance highlights the ongoing struggle for workers' rights in Nigeria's labor landscape, emphasizing the need to address alleged unfair labor practices in the country's industries.
