Super Eagles Flight Forced to Return After Windscreen Cracks Over Angola

A charter flight carrying Nigeria's Super Eagles faced technical issues with a cracked windscreen shortly after departing Luanda, Angola. The aircraft, operated by ValueJet, had to return to Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport for an emergency landing.

Passengers, including the team traveling to Polokwane and Uyo, were unharmed. The incident was attributed to structural stress on the Bombardier CRJ 900.

The Super Eagles are stranded in Angola awaiting alternative transport arranged by the Nigerian Football Federation. The team's upcoming match against Benin Republic at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium remains crucial for their World Cup qualification hopes.
