Super Eagles goalkeeper Nwabali has officially left Chippa United, a South African club, after a four-year spell. The club confirmed his departure in a statement, revealing that Nwabali had requested to leave despite having signed a contract extension until 2024.

Chippa United accepted his request and granted him a release to pursue the next phase of his career. Nwabali, who quickly became a key figure in the squad after joining from Katsina United in the Nigeria Premier Football League in 2022, made 70 appearances for the club and was appointed team captain in 2024.
