Super Eagles to Compete in Jordan's Four-Nation Tournament

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to participate in a four-nation invitational tournament in Jordan, confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). This mini tournament is scheduled for March during the FIFA men's international window.

The participating teams include Nigeria, Iran, Jordan, and Costa Rica. The Super Eagles, who are three-time African champions and bronze medalists in the 2025 AFCON, will begin their campaign against Iran on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Amman International Stadium, which has a capacity of 17,000.

Concurrently, Jordan will face Costa Rica at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, which can accommodate 62,000 spectators. The tournament will also see Jordan and Iran compete on Tuesday, March 31, at the Amman International Stadium, while Costa Rica will play Iran at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.

The exact kickoff times for the four matches are yet to be confirmed. This tournament serves as valuable preparation for Jordan ahead of their maiden appearance at the FIFA World Cup, where they are drawn in Group J alongside Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
