Super Eagles Set for Friendlies Against Poland, Portugal

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the Super Eagles will face Poland and Portugal in international friendly matches in June. The match against Poland is scheduled for June 3 at the PGE Narodowi Stadium in Warsaw, while the game against Portugal will take place on June 10, with the venue to be announced later.

NFF Director Ademola Olajire confirmed these high-profile fixtures, describing them as crucial tests for the team ahead of major competitions. The matches will allow the technical crew to assess the squad against top European opposition, providing an opportunity to test new players and tactical approaches.

Olajire expressed confidence that these fixtures will help the team build momentum and cohesion as they prepare for the upcoming United Cup tournament in London from May 26 to June 30. The Super Eagles are looking to rebound from a recent defeat and strengthen their readiness for the FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
