Super Eagles Set for Friendlies Against Poland, Portugal

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are scheduled to play international friendly matches against Poland and Portugal in June 2026. The match against Poland is set for Wednesday, June 3, 2026, with the venue yet to be announced.

A week later, Nigeria will face Portugal, with the location confirmed by the organizers. The last encounter with Poland resulted in a 1-0 victory for Nigeria on March 23, 2018, where Victor Moses scored from the penalty spot.

However, Nigeria suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat against Portugal in their most recent clash in November 2022, with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Gonçalo Ramos. In addition to these friendlies, Nigeria will compete in the United Cup in May alongside India and Jamaica, aiming for their third consecutive title after winning the last two editions.

The Super Eagles' last action was a 2-1 defeat against Iran in March.
