Super Falcons Drop to 37th in FIFA Women's Rankings

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have slipped to 37th place in the FIFA Women's Rankings after a six-rank drop, despite their recent performances in the WAFCON 2026 qualifiers against Benin Republic. Ghana climbed to 62nd place globally, while South Africa strengthened its rank after beating Morocco in a penalty shootout.

The top five in the global rankings include Spain, the United States, Germany, England, and Sweden. Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Zambia, and Morocco are the top-ranked African teams.
