The Super Falcons of Nigeria retained their position as Africa's top women's team in the recent FIFA rankings, dropping to 36th globally from 37th. South Africa's Banyana Banyana follows closely at 55th globally.

Ghana's Black Queens made a notable leap, climbing five spots to 62nd worldwide. Zambia, Morocco, and Burkina Faso also feature in Africa's top five rankings.

Burkina Faso, despite being 15th in Africa, jumped 16 spots to 134th globally, showcasing significant progress. The rankings reflect the growing competitiveness in women's football across Africa.
