Super Falcons defender Onome Ebi has announced her retirement from football after a remarkable career spanning club and country levels. With 109 caps for the national team, Ebi has won four African Women Championship titles and made history in 2023 as the first African footballer, male or female, to play in six FIFA Women's World Cup tournaments.
