Ugochukwu Okororafor Launches Alpha Abia RISE in Umuahia

At the inaugural summit of Alpha Abia RISE held in Umuahia, Ugochukwu Okororafor, the convener, called on members to deepen and institutionalize the governing philosophy of Governor Alex Otti. He stated that the group is centered on principles such as competent leadership, accountability, and prudent resource management, rather than on Otti as an individual.

Okororafor described the summit as a foundational step towards integrating the Alpha Abia RISE Movement into the political landscape of Abia State and Nigeria. He emphasized the importance of progress, service, and inclusivity, urging members to reconnect with the community and prepare for upcoming elections.

Dr Godwin Duru, the group's coordinator, encouraged members to engage actively in their communities and protect their votes. The event was attended by leaders and representatives from all 17 LGAs of Abia State, including Chief Mrs Orieji Emele Osonwa, the women leader, and members from the diaspora.
