Rivers Varsity Student Shot Dead by Suspected Cultists

A yet-to-be-identified 100-level student of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, located in Rumuolumeni, Rivers State, was reportedly shot dead on campus on Wednesday by suspected cultists. This incident occurred 48 hours after rival cult groups engaged in a shooting spree on Monday, which was attributed to a supremacy battle between members of the Vikings and Ku Klux Klan cult groups.

As of the time of reporting, details regarding the latest shooting incident were limited. A source close to the victim indicated that the student was rushed to a hospital where medical personnel were preparing to perform surgery to remove bullet pellets from his body.

The source, who chose to remain anonymous, mentioned that the victim's close friends were gathering funds for the surgery. It remains unverified whether the victim had any affiliations with a cult group.
