Tanzania to Boost Trade with Nigeria at FAB West Africa 2026

Tanzania is seeking to enhance its trade ties with Nigeria through its participation in the FAB West Africa 2026 exhibition, which will take place from June 9 to June 11 at the Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. Sundai Ehigi, from the Tanzania High Commission in Abuja, announced plans to showcase premium agricultural food products and explore new business opportunities for Nigerian stakeholders.

The Tanzanian pavilion will feature a diverse range of products, including premium tea, coffee, fine wine, cashew nuts, and spices. The exhibition aims to promote Tanzanian products in West Africa and create avenues for investment and commercial collaboration, aligning with the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The event will also facilitate business-to-business meetings to connect Tanzanian producers with Nigerian importers, distributors, and retailers, thereby strengthening commercial links between East and West Africa.
