Tanzania's Minister Urges Taifa Stars to Rewrite History Against Nigeria at AFCON 2025

Tanzanian Minister Palamagamba Kabudi has challenged the Taifa Stars to rewrite history by starting with a crucial match against Nigeria at AFCON 2025. This encounter holds significance as it marks only the second time the two nations will meet in the AFCON group stage, with the first meeting dating back to 1980.

Kabudi emphasized the importance of discipline, unity, and national pride for the Tanzanian team. Additionally, Tanzania will face Uganda and Tunisia in the group stage, with efforts to boost morale by government officials like Deputy Minister Paul Makonda.
