Taraba Governor Meets Tinubu Amid APC Defection Plans

Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku, met with Bola Tinubu at Aso Rock alongside the APC Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.

The meeting comes amidst speculations of the governor planning to defect from the PDP to the APC. Governor Ishaku, a retired Nigerian Army Lieutenant Colonel, previously served as the Chairman of the Board of NIMASA.

His defection could impact the political landscape in Taraba State and beyond, as the APC aims to strengthen its position against the weakened PDP.
