Taraba Governor Meets Tinubu at Villa Amid Political Shift

Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefa held a closed-door meeting with APC leader Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Governor Kefa, who recently defected from the PDP to the APC, discussed political strategies and support for his formal reception into the APC.

The meeting's outcomes were not disclosed, but security concerns, particularly the recent schoolgirl abduction in Kebbi State, led to the postponement of Governor Kefa's grand entry into the APC. This defection has already seen 15 lawmakers from the Taraba State House of Assembly leave the PDP for the APC.
