Actor Taye Arimoro Sues Actress Peggy Ovire for Assault, Demands ₦100M in Damages

Nollywood actor Taye Arimoro has taken legal action against actress Peggy Ovire for allegedly assaulting him on a movie set. Arimoro is demanding ₦100,000,000 in damages and a public apology from Ovire.

The incident reportedly occurred on November 11, 2025, when Arimoro's contract ended at 11:59 pm. Ovire's team is accused of confronting Arimoro, deflating his car tires, causing injuries, and tampering with his phone.

Arimoro's lawyer claims the event violated his rights and caused emotional distress and financial loss. Ovire has been given seven days to respond.
