Actor Taye Arimoro Sues Peggy Ovire Over Alleged Assault, Seeks ₦100m Damages

Nigerian actor Taye Arimoro has taken legal action against fellow actor Peggy Ovire, accusing her of assaulting him on a movie set. Arimoro claims Ovire physically attacked him and two crew members during filming, leading to injuries.

In response, Ovire allegedly accused Arimoro of assault as well. Arimoro's legal team, led by Inibeh Effiong Chambers, has demanded a public apology and ₦100 million in compensation from Ovire.

The dispute has escalated with both parties sharing their versions of events on social media.
