TCN Initiates Repair of Vandalized Transmission Towers
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) is currently engaged in the rehabilitation of four transmission towers, designated T50 to T53, which were vandalized along the Afam-IPP–Elelenwo 132kV Double-Circuit Transmission Line in Rivers State. TCN lines engineers from the Port Harcourt Region discovered the vandalism on August 6, 2026, noting that the tower members had been removed and taken away by vandals.
