Tems and Burna Boy Lead African Billboard Hot 100 Entries

Nigerian artists Tems and Burna Boy have achieved a significant milestone by becoming the African artists with the highest number of entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They surpassed the previous record held by the South African band Seether.

This week, Tems earned a new entry on the chart with her feature on J. Cole's album, "The Fall Off," debuting at number 34.

Burna Boy also made a new entry at number 78, bringing the total number of entries for Nigerian artists to eight, a joint record for Africa. Tems has accumulated three Billboard Hot 100 entries this year, including "Raindance" and "Dave Need," while Burna Boy has made history as the first African artist to have entries on the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive years.
