CAN Denies Foreign Claims of Christian Genocide in Nigeria, Cites Religious Neutrality

CAN dismissed the allegations as false and misleading, emphasizing that terror attacks in Nigeria do not discriminate based on religion.

The association highlighted the pattern of killings across Nigeria, noting that both Christians and Muslims have been victims of terrorism and banditry. CAN's Director of National Issues and Social Welfare, Abimbola Ayuba, pointed out that the violence in Nigeria is not solely religiously motivated but also driven by other factors.
