The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) is at the forefront of transforming Africa's economic landscape by empowering entrepreneurs across 54 sovereign nations. Founded by Tony Elumelu, a visionary banker and industrialist, TEF operates on the belief that the African private sector plays a crucial role in the continent's development.

Since its inception in 2015, TEF has disbursed $100 million to support 24,000 entrepreneurs, which has led to the creation of 1.5 million jobs and generated $4.2 billion in revenue. The foundation's approach emphasizes the importance of self-reliance and wealth creation, moving away from traditional aid models.

Under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Somachi Chris-Asoluka, TEF focuses on providing non-refundable seed capital, rigorous business training, and high-level mentorship to ensure that beneficiaries can navigate the global market effectively.
