"The Public is Hereby Notified": EFCC Finally Reveals Why Atiku's Son-In-Law Was Declared Wanted

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Abdullahi Bashir Haske, son-in-law of former vice president Atiku Abubakar, wanted for alleged involvement in criminal conspiracy and money laundering. The commission dismissed claims that the action was politically motivated, as Haske is expected to contest in the 2027 presidential election.

The EFCC urged the public to provide credible information on Haske's whereabouts and provided contact details for reporting. Haske, 38, was last known to reside in Ikoyi and Victoria Island in Lagos.

This announcement comes after former NNPC CEO Mele Kyari was placed on a watchlist by the EFCC for alleged fraud. The EFCC has encouraged Nigerians to assist in locating both individuals and share information through official channels.
