Soludo Confirms Murder of Councillor During Anambra Governorship Election

Anambra State Governor, Professor Soludo, confirmed the tragic murder of a councillor from Owerr Ezukala during the governorship election. The deceased councillor was identified as a representative of Orumba South Local Government Area.

Gunmen stormed the voting center, causing panic and fatally shooting the councillor shortly after he attempted to cast his vote. Despite the incident, Soludo praised the security operations for preventing further disruptions during the election and ensuring the safety of the electoral process.
