Sanwo-Olu Accuses NGOs of Profiting from Makoko Demolition

Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State accused non-governmental organizations of taking advantage of the demolition exercise in the Makoko area for profit. He disclosed this during a press briefing on Monday, stating that the decision to demolish was made to ensure the overall safety of citizens and residents due to the presence of high tension cables.

Sanwo-Olu criticized NGOs, both local and international, for profiteering from the demolition.
