Thief Steals Hilux Van from Kano Government House, Security Breach Reported

A major security breach occurred at Kano Government House as an unidentified thief stole a Toyota Hilux van belonging to the deputy governor's convoy. The suspect gained access through Gate 4, drove past security without stopping, and was captured on CCTV.

The driver of the stolen vehicle, Shafiu Sharp Sharp, was identified and questioned. Governor Abba Yusuf's spokesperson, Sanusi Dawakin Tofa, did not respond to inquiries.

The incident highlighted vulnerabilities in the security of the government complex.
