Tinubu Addresses Nigeria's Ongoing Insecurity Challenges

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu spoke about the ongoing struggle against insecurity in Nigeria, stating that the fight has not been easy. He acknowledged the immense pain and pressure that insecurity has placed on the country.

Tinubu reaffirmed the federal government's resolve to combat violent extremism and protect the future of Nigeria. He commended the efforts of the Armed Forces, Police Department, Department of State Services, Civil Defence, and Intelligence Agency for their roles in safeguarding innocent citizens from criminal elements.

The president noted that millions of Nigerians, particularly those engaged in daily socio-economic activities such as farming and trade, rely directly on the vigilance of security personnel stationed across difficult terrains, including forests and creeks, to ensure their safety.
