Tinubu Thanks Security Forces for Terrorism Fight Sacrifices

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu commended Nigerian security personnel for their courage and sacrifices in the ongoing fight against terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping across the country. He acknowledged the challenging conditions under which soldiers operate, including difficult terrains and the emotional strain of long separations from their families.

Tinubu praised members of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, and local security agencies for their commitment to maintaining peace and stability in Nigeria. He emphasized that the fight against terrorism requires not only military efforts but also active support from citizens, urging them to provide credible information to security forces.

Tinubu declared that Nigeria would not surrender to fear or allow terrorists and violent extremists to define the nation. He concluded by expressing gratitude to frontline personnel and honoring those who lost their lives in the line of duty, describing them as heroes whose sacrifices resonate within the community.
