Kanayo O. Kanayo Critiques Apostle Arome's Heaven Claims

Veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo publicly called out Apostle Arome Osayi on October 19, 2026, regarding claims that the preacher has made regular visits to heaven. In a video posted on his official Instagram page, Kanayo expressed alarm about the rise of unorthodox doctrines within contemporary Christian circles.

He referenced basic Christian teachings, stating that Jesus Christ only ascended into heaven after his earthly death, questioning how a living preacher could make such claims without facing criticism from his congregation. Kanayo expressed concern not only for the preachers but also for church members who reportedly applaud these claims, warning that many believers are unknowingly walking into spiritual danger.

He framed his comments as a warning rather than an attack on Christianity, specifically addressing Nigerians and Africans to be more discerning about the spiritual voices they choose to follow. His remarks came amid ongoing controversy surrounding Apostle Arome Osayi, whose claims had already attracted criticism from other pastors and the public.
