Cristiano Ronaldo, the 41-year-old captain of the Portugal national team and forward for Al-Nassr, indicated that he might retire from professional football after the 2026-27 season. In an interview with Vogue published on Sunday, he expressed his desire to leave a "spectacular legacy." Ronaldo, who began the new season on August 15, mentioned that he has planned for life after football, emphasizing the importance of filling his time with various activities, including spending more time with family, traveling, and enjoying leisure activities like padel.

He noted that football has been a significant part of his life for 25 years, filled with sacrifices. Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in 2023 after leaving Manchester United and has continued to perform at a high level, including participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He married Georgina Rodríguez in an intimate ceremony on August 11, marking the 10th anniversary of their first meeting, and they look forward to spending more time together and with their children.
