Three Suspects Arraigned for N11.4m Fraud in Lagos

On Friday, three suspects, John Zinsu (43), Koleoso Olamid (45), and Oyinlola Sahe (37), were arraigned at the Ikeja Magistrate Court in Lagos for allegedly defrauding a man of N11.4 million. The prosecution, led by Josephin Ikhayer, stated that the defendants conspired to obtain the money under false pretenses by promising to sell a 2013 Toyota Camry.

According to the prosecutor, the defendants failed to deliver the vehicle and refused to refund the money, instead converting it for personal use. The alleged offenses occurred within the Yaba Magistrate District and contravened sections 287, 314, and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.

The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges. Magistrate Mr.

L. Owolabi granted them bail in the sum of N500,000 with two reliable sureties and adjourned the case until June 30 for mention.
