Taraba Assembly Sees Three Lawmakers Defect to PDP

Three opposition lawmakers in Taraba State Assembly defect to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) citing alignment with the party's ideology and vision for better service delivery. The lawmakers, Umar Adamu, Zakari Sanusi, and Anas Shaibu, left their former parties to join PDP, which now holds 15 seats in the Assembly.

The defection is seen as a strategic move to contribute to the development of Taraba State under Governor Agbu Kefas' leadership.
