Three Teams Eliminated from 2026 FIFA World Cup

Three teams have been knocked out of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Tunisia became the latest team to exit after suffering a heavy 4-0 defeat to Japan in Monterrey.

This loss followed Tunisia's earlier defeat of 5-1 to Sweden in their opening match of Group F, resulting in their elimination as they failed to secure a single point from their first two games, with a maximum of three points now unattainable. Haiti, having lost 3-0 to Brazil in Group C, confirmed their elimination, finishing at the bottom of the group with zero points and a goal difference of -4.

Their final group game against Morocco on June 24 will be a dead rubber. Paraguay also joined the ranks of eliminated teams after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Turkey in the San Francisco Bay Area, leaving them with two losses and no points in the tournament.
