Thugs Attack Ondo APC Secretariat, Injuring Officials

On a Wednesday, thugs invaded the APC Secretariat in Ondo State during a routine stakeholder meeting, resulting in injuries to several party officials, including Engr. Adetimehin, the APC Chairman, and Hon.

Otito Atikas, a commissioner from the NDDC. The chaos began when armed assailants stormed the venue, causing panic among attendees who fled in different directions.

Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers, identified as members of the NURTW, used weapons such as sticks and machetes. The meeting was abruptly halted, and many officials sought refuge in nearby buildings.

Reports indicate that the thugs were allegedly sent by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who was mentioned by name during the attack. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of political gatherings in Ondo State, highlighting the increasing danger in the region's political landscape.
