Timini Egbuson's latest feature film, "Love and New Notes," opened with a box office debut of N106.5 million, reinforcing his reputation as a bankable lead in Nigeria's cinema industry. The film, directed by Kayode Kasum and written by Stephen Okonkwo, is set in 1984 Nigeria and follows the character Boma as he navigates love amidst changing economic realities.

During its opening weekend from February 13 to 15, the romantic drama grossed N103.9 million, contributing to its cumulative earnings of approximately N106.5 million. This performance places it among the stronger openings of the year amid heightened competition in the domestic box office.

The cast includes notable names such as Odunlade Adekola, Sophi Alakija, and Eniola Badmus. The film was co-produced by Filmon Entertainment and distributed by Filmtrib Media, securing wide cinema placements across Nigeria and Ghana.
