Laju Iren's film "Onobiren: A Woman's Story" achieved a significant box office gross of N30.1 million within its first three days of release across cinemas in Nigeria and Ghana, making it the highest-grossing title in Nigerian cinema for that weekend, from March 6 to March 8, 2026. This marks Iren's first cinema release as an executive producer.

The film's release coincided with Women's Month, centering on themes of female resilience and solidarity. Following the announcement of its box office performance, Iren expressed gratitude to the audience for their support via social media platform X.

The film premiered on March 1, 2026, at Ebonylif Cinema in Victoria Island, Lagos, showcasing the vibrant culture of the Niger Delta, particularly in Koko, Delta State, where several scenes were filmed. "Onobiren" follows the journey of a young woman navigating challenges and discovering her purpose, emphasizing the strength of women supporting each other against social and economic obstacles.
