Tinubu Begins Two-Day State Visit to London

President Bola Tinubu arrived in London, United Kingdom, on a two-day state visit on March 18, 2023, at the invitation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The visit was disclosed by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga via a release issued on Tuesday evening.

Tinubu's plane touched down at London Stansted Airport at 3:18 PM, where he was received on behalf of the royal family by Mark Bevan, Deputy Lieutenant of Essex, along with senior officials from the High Commission Nigeria and UK Ambassador Moham Maidugu. During the visit, which includes hosting events at Windsor Castle on March 18 and 19, the focus will be on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring investment opportunities for businessmen from both nations.
