Tinubu Returns to Lagos After International Visits

President Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Friday after a three-nation visit to France, Kenya, and Rwanda. His official plane, Nigeria Air Force 1, touched down at Murtala Muhammed International Airport at approximately 7:12 PM.

He was received by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa, and other state officials. Tinubu will participate in the Progress Congress primary election starting Saturday.

During his visit, he met with global investors in France, emphasizing the need for transparency and fiscal discipline to implement bold economic reforms. He co-hosted the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi with French President Emmanuel Macron and Kenyan President William Ruto, where he called for reforms in global financial architecture to prioritize Africa's growth.

In Rwanda, he held bilateral meetings with Rwandan President Paul Kagame and Madagascar's Michael Randrianirina, discussing economic transformation and cross-border investment.
