Tinubu Returns to Lagos After Plateau Condolence Visit

President Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Thursday night after a condolence visit to Plateau State, where he expressed sympathy to families affected by a recent deadly attack in Angwan Rukuba that claimed 29 lives and left others injured. Upon his arrival at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, he was welcomed by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other dignitaries.

During his visit, Tinubu met with bereaved families and traditional leaders, and he ordered the deployment of 5,000 surveillance cameras to enhance security and track down those responsible for the killings. Additionally, Tinubu is expected to oversee the inauguration of two commercial aircraft at Gateway International Cargo Airport in Ogun State and the new headquarters of the Federal Operations Unit of the Nigeria Customs Service.

He plans to return to Lagos to continue Easter holiday activities before proceeding to Bayelsa State on April 10 to inspect completed projects under Governor Douye Diri's administration.
