Tinubu Attends Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi

President Bola Tinubu arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, on Monday at 12:15 AM for a two-day Africa Forward Summit. His official aircraft, Nigeria Air Force 1, landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

He was received by top Nigerian government officials, including Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Taiwo Oyeleke, and others. The summit, co-chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Kenyan President William Ruto, focuses on the theme "Africa Forward: Africa-France Partnership for Innovation and Growth." Key issues to be addressed include energy transition, green industrialization, digital transformation, climate action, and restructuring global financial architecture.

President Tinubu's participation underscores Nigeria's commitment to deepening strategic partnerships with African countries and the French Republic. Following the summit, he is scheduled to proceed to Kigali, Rwanda, for the Africa CEO Forum, slated for May 14-15, which will gather approximately 2,000 private sector leaders, investors, and policymakers.
