Ohaneze Ndigbo Urges Tinubu to Free Nnamdi Kanu

President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide and Senator Azuta Mbata called for the release of incarcerated IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, on World Igbo Day. The day commemorates the massacre of Igbo people in 1966.

Mbata urged unity in Nigeria and appealed to President Bola Tinubu to release Kanu, who has been in detention for an extended period. Governor Charles Soludo also echoed the call for Kanu's release, recalling his initial arrest during the administration of former President Buhari.

The plea for Kanu's release comes amidst discussions on national unity and justice for the IPOB leader.
