Tinubu Betrayed Kwankwaso In Kano, Forget Their 2027 Alliance – Galadima

Engr Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), has dismissed the possibility of an alliance between President Bola Tinubu and former Kano State governor Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso ahead of the 2027 election. Galadima accused the administration of betraying Kwankwaso by providing support to the deposed Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, despite his lawful removal by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, who is a friend of the APC.

He criticized the Federal Government for propping up the 15th Emir of Kano with heavy security while neglecting the worsening insecurity in other parts of the state. Galadima also revealed that Tinubu had allegedly supported the appointment of Emir Sanusi II in 2014, indicating political interference in Kano's affairs.
