Tinubu Celebrates Femi Adeniran's 50th Birthday

On a special occasion marking Femi Adeniran's 50th birthday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu issued a statement celebrating Adeniran's distinguished career as the Executive Director of Airtel Nigeria. Tinubu described Adeniran as a significant contributor to both public service and private sector leadership, emphasizing his dedication to Nigeria's development.

The President commended Adeniran for his willingness to leave a senior position in the private sector to serve the nation during critical times, particularly recalling his role as Chief of Staff during the 2011 presidential election for the Action Congress of Nigeria. Tinubu acknowledged Adeniran's tenure as the pioneer Chief Executive Officer of the Osun State Investment Promotion Agency from 2019 to 2022, where he was credited with strengthening investor engagement and improving the state's investment promotion framework.

Adeniran's extensive experience in the private sector, particularly in telecommunications, was noted as beneficial for fostering public-private partnerships and driving economic growth in Nigeria.
