Tinubu Celebrates Oando CEO Adewale Tinubu's 59th Birthday

President Bola Tinubu extended his congratulations to Adewale Tinubu, the Group Chief Executive of Oando Plc, on the occasion of his 59th birthday. In a statement released on the previous day, Tinubu highlighted Adewale Tinubu's significant impact on Nigeria's energy sector, particularly through his entrepreneurial spirit that has transformed Oando into a fully integrated energy group operating across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.

The President commended Adewale Tinubu for his role in creating job opportunities and spearheading landmark deals, including the acquisition of ConocoPhillips, which marked a historic listing on the South African and Nigerian stock exchanges. Furthermore, Tinubu praised Adewale Tinubu's leadership in promoting local content development and his commitment to environmental protection.

He also acknowledged the visionary role of Adewale Tinubu in establishing the Oando Foundation in 2011, which currently supports 88 schools across Nigeria, promoting community development and environmental sustainability.
