Tinubu Celebrates Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal at 61

President Bola Tinubu congratulated Dauda Lawal, the Governor of Zamfara State, on his 61st birthday, which was celebrated on September 2. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu referred to Lawal as a “Renaissance governor” who has positively transformed the state.

The President commended Lawal for his significant contributions, particularly in infrastructure and urban renewal, as well as his efforts towards industrialization in Zamfara. Tinubu highlighted Lawal's achievements, including the rehabilitation of over 800 schools, the recruitment of more than 2,000 teachers, and the upgrading of hospitals along with the provision of medical supplies across the state.

The President emphasized that Lawal’s multi-sectoral approach to governance is essential for achieving holistic development, especially in human capital development. Tinubu joined family, friends, and the people of Zamfara in wishing Lawal good health and renewed strength as he continues to serve.
