Tinubu Promises Relief for Nigerians Amid Middle East Crisis

President Bola Tinubu stated that the Federal Government will promptly address the suffering experienced by Nigerians as a result of the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. Speaking in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, during the inauguration of state government projects, he acknowledged the economic challenges arising from the conflict.

Tinubu assured that the government, in collaboration with the Ministries of Finance, Budget, and Economic Planning, will implement measures to ease the burdens faced by the populace. He highlighted the inauguration of a 60-megawatt gas-fired independent power plant in the Elebel Ogbia local government area, aimed at improving electricity supply and fostering industrial growth in the Niger Delta.

Tinubu commended Governor Douy Diri for his leadership and emphasized the need for reliable power to drive economic growth and job creation. He also reiterated the government's commitment to enhancing security and equipping the armed forces to combat terrorism and banditry.
