Tinubu Govt Inaugurates 2,000-litre Milk Collection Centre In Bauchi

The Tinubu Government has inaugurated a 2,000-litre milk collection center in Bauchi, which was initially rehabilitated and equipped by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The facility will be managed by L Z Integrated Farms, a private investor.

The Ministry's Director of Livestock Development highlighted the importance of the site due to the significant daily milk deposits in the area. The project aims to boost local milk production and reduce dependence on imports.

The Managing Director of L Z Integrated Farms emphasized the need to scale up dairy processing and production capacity in Nigeria. Local government officials and community leaders expressed support for the initiative, noting its potential to improve economic growth and livelihoods.

The Miyetti Allah Shira Local Government Area Chairman welcomed the development, pledging the community's commitment to supplying quality milk to the center.
