Nigerian Government Launches Nationwide Online Classes for School Children

The Nigerian government, led by the Ministry of Education, has introduced an online real-time class initiative aimed at offering equal educational opportunities to schoolchildren across the country. The program, developed in collaboration with Cisco, targets addressing challenges in the education sector such as teacher shortages and learning disruptions.

Live interactive lessons covering various subjects for primary and secondary school students will be delivered through the platform. The initiative will commence at Alausa and expand nationwide, involving state education commissions and school principals to ensure seamless implementation.
