Niyi Ralph Explains Hostility Towards President Tinubu
Nollywood actor Niyi Ralph, during an interview with Nolly TV, expressed that the negative sentiment towards President Bola Tinubu is not mainly linked to Nigeria's economic challenges. He asserted that the hostility is rooted in the dissatisfaction of Peter Obi's supporters, who are still reeling from Tinubu's victory in the 2023 presidential election.
Ralph claimed that these supporters had anticipated Obi's win based on their expectations and calculations. He emphasized that the resentment towards Tinubu is not due to economic issues but rather because he has "never been loved from day one." According to Ralph, the anger directed at Tinubu is fueled by the envy and hurt felt by Obi's supporters, who are struggling to accept the election outcome.
